Through the federal CARES Act funds, we were able to provide laptops to over 250 students in the Fall 2020 semester. We have a very limited supply of laptops for the Spring 2021 semester. The federal CARES Act funds this initiative; therefore, you must meet the conditions outlined below to apply. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS You are currently attending at least one UCA class You are a US Citizen or eligible non-citizen You were directly affected by COVID-19 You do not have access to a working laptop You have not received a laptop from previous Laptop Initiative programs. Google Chrome Clock issues and Collaborate Ultra (Wednesday, February 10, 2021) There is a bug in the newest version of Google Chrome causing Collaborate session or activity times to be incorrectly displayed 14 or 16 hours later. Update - February 8, 2021: Google has fixed this issue in Chrome versions 88.0.4324.146 and higher. Please update your Chrome browser to the latest release to resolve the issue. Respondus LockDown Browser update (Monday, February 8, 2021) Please make sure your Respondus LockDown Browser is updated to version 2.0.7.00 For Windows users, start Respondus LockDown Browser, select the “i” button from the toolbar, and then click “Check for Newer Version”. The version will be displayed and you will be able to download a newer version if one is available. For Mac users, start Respondus LockDown Browser, select “About” from the toolbar, and then click “Check for Update.” The version will be displayed and you will be able to download a newer version if one is available.
